Scott Bryan, a Republican, is a veteran of the United States Army and the Maryland Army National Guard where he achieved the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. He also has management and leadership experience in retail and logistics. He currently works as a consultant to the United States Army Test and Evaluation Command.
Issues important to Scott are preserving and maintaining Washington County’s rich history while building a prosperous future, Economic growth in the County, Priority funding for Education and other Essential Services, Reduction of Crime and Illegal Drugs, and Improving the County infrastructure.
Scott has a master’s degree in Military History from American Military University, after receiving a bachelor’s degree in History and Mass Communication from Towson University, and an associate degree in Communications from Hagerstown Community College. He is a member of the National Rifle Association, the Izaak Walton League of America (Washington County Chapter) and the Maryland Camaro Club, as well as an avid fan of the Baltimore Orioles and the Hagerstown Suns.
He resides in Clear Spring with his wife, Alyssa.
